COMPUTERS
3rd and 4th grade students are working on copying and pasting pictures into a Microsoft Word document. They will also be exploring the upcoming presidential elections on the internet. We will be using the following web sites: www.scholasticnews.com and http://www.timeforkids.com/TFK/
5th & 6th grade students have begun working on creating a flyer called ‘On This Day’. They will research what happened in history on their birthday. The second part of this project will include creating a page in Microsoft Word about important events in the year they were born.
1st and 2nd graders are working on graphing on the computer. We are graphing animals, colors, the month they were born, and number of brothers and sisters they have. We are using a program called Max Count by Scholastic. 7th & 8th grade will be starting a new project in the next week. They will be creating a picture documentary of a famous person using Microsoft Photo Story 3. Photo Story 3 is a free download from Microsoft. You can try it at home.
