Recycle your old gym shoes!!

St. Leonard School’s "Nike Re-Use a Shoe" Drive was a huge success! During the two month long drive, St. Leonard Parish in collaboration with the PAV YMCA, collected 250 pairs of gym shoes.  The gym shoes will now be handed over to Nike where they will be recycled and turned into running tracks, tennis courts and basketball courts.  During the drive we also received 50 pairs of shoes that are unfortunately unable to be recycled.  These shoes are being donated to the local Pads Shelters.
