St. Leonard Parent Association Minutes

August 18, 2008

Present: Joe Munoz, Debi Unzueta, Krystyna Walsher, Marybeth Goldbranson,

And Mary Anne Plenys

New Business:

Back to School Luau- Assignment of responsibilities for the evening of the event

were discussed, Mary Anne and Joe will purchase 250 hotdogs and buns.

Popcorn , chips, potato salad, cole slaw and lemonade will also be served.

Debi Unzueta to assign specific duties to all that volunteered to help. Budget

for decorations will be $50.00

Welcome Back To School: Marybeth Goldbranson to purchase all the pastries

etc that will be served that morning.  Budget for shopping will be $50.00

coffee should be set and ready to go the evening prior Mary & Krystyna to

set up.  Morning of Debi & Marybeth to organize everything.

Casino Night: A tentative date of November 1 is set for this event.  More

info to follow.

Old Business:

Coordinators: There are still 2 events that need to be filled.  Marybeth and

Mary Anne will work on filling these openings and also coordinators who have

volunteered need to be contacted to verify that they are still interested in

organizing the event.

School Directory: The school directory should be completed and delivered by

mid October.

Parent Night: Parent Night is September 10, 2008.  Pls mark you calendars!!!
