The St. Leonard Parent Association (SLPA)

is a group of volunteer parents who join together to offer fun activities and entertainment to enrich the lives of our children and families.

Some of our social events on the calendar for the 2009-2010 school year include:

All School Swim Party

Parent’s Night Out

Santa Breakfast & Cookie Walk

Dance of the Decades – we celebrated the ‘80s this year

Catholic School Week Open House

Roller-Skating Party

Father /Daughter Dance

Mother/Son Bowl

Fashion Show

End of School Year Fun Day

 

 

In addition SLPA:

sponsors a book fair

upcycles juice pouches

holds an Affy Tapple Fundraiser

publishes the St. Leonard Yearbook

coordinates a Uniform Exchange Program

hosts monthly Benefit Nights at local restaurants

offers classroom “start up” funds to the teachers

collects General Mills Box Tops and Campbell’s Labels

publishes the School Directory to aid in parent communication

supports the Cultural Arts Program by providing programs and funds

hosts a Teacher Appreciation Week luncheon for teachers and staff

 

                               

Our meetings are held the first Tuesday of the month in the Rectory at 7:00 pm.

We welcome new ideas so please feel free to join us anytime.
