REVISED January 15, 2005

ADULT INVOLVEMENT

St. Leonard Parent Association
The St. Leonard Parent Association is an organization made up of all the parents/guardians who have students attending St. Leonard School. This organization is responsible for parent-student social activities, school volunteer programs, room parents, and parent education and interaction. General meetings and activities are held throughout the year. We encourage parents/guardians to become an active member of the SLPA by attending meetings and functions. Supporting and volunteering to help at the various activities is an important way to find out more about the St. Leonard School family.

Thanks to our many tireless volunteers as well as those who support our various fundraising functions throughout the year!

Saint Leonard School Committee
The purpose of the St. Leonard School Committee is to develop and define policies that will enable the school to reach its goals, to promote the implementation of those policies, and to counsel and advise in regard to the operation of the school. The SLSC also acts as the public relations branch of the school, assists in the hiring of the school principal, and reviews and advises on the school's annual budget. Open meetings are held as announced, generally on the second Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. Parishioners are urged to participate in the SLSC by attending monthly meetings, joining committees, and participating in SLSC activities. Some of the standing committees are:  Fund Raising, Public Relations, Long Range Planning (includes Technology), and Alumni.
