Dear Parent/Guardian:
In teaching your children here at St. Leonard, let us all remember the following. Every child is a priceless gift from the Creator. As parents, friends of parents, teachers, aunts, and grandmothers, we understand the critical importance of raising our children with love, with discipline, and with God. Every child deserves the presence of caring adults who serve as godly role models. Let us always be mindful of the profound responsibilities of teaching and raising our children to know the Lord and to walk with Him always.
End of Year Tuition and Fees
Parents, please keep in mind that May 15th is the date that all outstanding monies, including tuition, fundraising, church attendance and any other fees are due. Report cards and diplomas for 8th grade and Kindergarten students will not be distributed to students if their tuition and/or fees are not paid by May 15th. Report cards and diplomas will be held and mailed one week after all payments are received. If you are returning to St. Leonard School next year and have not registered, please do so as soon as possible.
Graduation
Congratulations to all students in Kindergarten and 8th grade as you move onward and upward to new ventures. To all St. Leonard students, whether you are starting or ending your journey this year, we salute you, and wish you good luck in the future.
End of School Pick-Up
As you come to pick up your students at the end of the school day, please do not park in the driveways of the residents of our street.
Summer Office Hours
The school office will only be open a limited number of days during the summer. Please call ahead for office appointments. Messages will be returned as soon as possible. Summer office hours are: 9:00am 2:00pm (when staffed). The school office reopens every day on August 4th from 9:00am 2:00 until the start of school.
Band Concert
The St. Leonard band will perform on Wednesday, May 28th at 1:30pm. Parents are invited to the concert.
Days Off in May
We will have two days off in May Friday, May 16th (Staff Development Day) and Monday, May 26 (Memorial Day). There will not be any after school care on these days.
Recess Revision
Due to concerns expressed, if there is not a sufficient number of parent workers/volunteers at lunch time for outside recess, we will have indoor recess.
Last Day of School
Friday, June 6th is the last day of school. Dismissal will be at 10:00am. There will be no after school care on this day.
