Mission Our Lady of the Angels 2024! - Blessed Miguel Pro Parish Team
Team Our Lady of the Angels will be running in the 2024 Bank of America Chicago Marathon to support Mission of Our Lady of the Angels!
Hello friends, I hope everyone is doing well In less than a month, 15 dedicated individuals will be running the Chicago Marathon to support the Mission of Our Lady of the Angels, a vital outreach program in the West Humboldt Park neighborhood. West Humboldt Park is one of Chicago's most challenged areas, with 50% of the population living below the poverty line and only 33% of children graduating from high school. The Mission serves as a lifeline, providing food and essential supplies to over 4,000 families each month. The demand remains immense, driven by the influx of new immigrants to Chicago and the ongoing challenges of unemployment and inflation. Additionally, the Mission supports senior citizens, youth, and families through our partnership with Kelly Hall YMCA.
We invite you to pray for us as well in the next 40 days as we train and prepare for the race and support our team of runners. Any contribution you can make will significantly help us reach our goal. Below is a list of the runners and the link to their fundraising pages. Thank you all for your generosity and support
More info about the Mission at www.missionola.com The Mission is a 501(c)(3) and relies entirely on the donations of private donors. Our EIN is 20-3436272 if needed for your records.
